MPW London held its annual art show recently, an opportunity for parents and guests to see ambitious artworks from GCSE and A-level students
MPW London held its annual art exhibition at the end of May. The event featured a wide range of works by the college’s A level and GCSE students. Displays showcased pieces from each area of the department, including ambitiously staged textiles, ceramics, photography and graphics, along with a comprehensive range of paintings and drawings.
The London college for students aged from 14 years has a strong track record in art and design. Recently, MPW London introduced a UAL Foundation Diploma to prepare students for its degree course in Art and Design. UAL has been a strong supporter of the college’s approach and a number of students have moved on to study here – and at other highly rated centres, such as Parsons New York, Ravensbourne and Marangoni.
MPW Queen’s Gate House, opening next January to accommodate UK and international boarders from 14+, will also include a stunning glass art studio spanning 120 square metres at the top of the South Kensington building.
