The show must go on at Pangbourne, whose arts programme is continuing online

Pangbourne College drama team left everyone on a high last spring, with a hit staging of the classic musical Grease as the last major ‘in person’ event. Highlights of this show at the Reading, Berkshire co-ed included a real car on the stage to bring the song ‘Greased Lightning’ to life. After lockdown, a lively Arts programme continued online, alongside co-curricular and sporting challenges, a complete academic timetable and pastoral support.

Pangbourne College offers a values-based education for girls and boys aged 11-18, with both day places and a range of boarding options. The school, which was judged ‘excellent’ across all categories in 2019 by the Independent Schools’ Inspectorate (ISI), will be hosting a series of open-day events over the autumn, with a separate event for Sixth Form entry.
