Latymer Upper School Head David Goodhew will join Dukes Education Board from September 2023
Dukes Education has announced that David Goodhew, Head of Latymer Upper School for the past decade, will serve as a full-time member of the board from September 2023. This appointment supports the ongoing growth of Dukes Education, which now operates a large group of independent nurseries, schools, sixth form colleges, summer schools and university preparation services. He will also work with the Dukes Foundation to expand its bursary provision and social impact.
On the board, he joins Professor Mark Bailey, Libby Nicholas, Dr Glenn Hawkins and Tim Fish, along with CFO Jon Pickles and Chairman Aatif Hassan. “I am delighted that David Goodhew will be joining the Dukes family next September. He has been on our Educational Advisory Board for a number of years, and we have benefited already from his immense wisdom and experience as a Head,” says Aatif Hassan. “David is also a Dukes parent with children at a Dukes school. He knows and understands our vision.”
“It has been the honour of a lifetime to lead Latymer over the past decade but I am ready for a new challenge. I admire Dukes’ ambition,” says David Goodhew.
