Two students from St Clare’s, Oxford hosted a thought-provoking TEDx evening of talks about internationalism

Two IB Diploma students at St Clare’s, Oxford hosted a TEDx evening of talks on ‘internationalism’. Sheeta Ho and Anissa Ziane selected eight speakers from both the student and staff body to talk around the theme.

Topics on the night ranged from humanitarian aid to how to study in a second language. The videos from the evening are available on the ‘TEDx Talks’ YouTube channel.

This academic year, St Clare’s, Oxford is celebrating 70 years of educating people from across the globe. It was founded by Anne Dreydel OBE and Pamela Morris in 1953 and grew out of a desire to rebuild links between British and European students after the Second World War. Today, it attracts students from more than 40 countries and has a longstanding specialism in IB teaching and methodology. It was the first school in England to become an IB World School.

Alongside IB and pre-IB study for UK and international students, St Clare’s Oxford provides spring and summer short courses, English language teaching. Study Abroad programmes, university foundation programmes and training and development for teachers.
