Cheltenham College, the Gloucestershire independent for children aged 3 to 18, will be the first British co-ed to establish a school in Oman, with a purpose-built campus for pupils
Cheltenham College is opening a school in Muscat, Oman – the first British co-ed independent to establish a base in the country. Located on a 45,000sq m site, the purpose-built Cheltenham Muscat will welcome boys and girls in 2021/22. Cheltenham College Senior Deputy Head Crispin Dawson will become Founding Head of the new school, which is locally owned by an independent company led by the Ministry of Defence Pension Fund.
Cheltenham College Head Nicola Huggett said: “This new school, combined with our existing network of thousands of Old Cheltonians across the globe, will bring huge opportunities and benefits to all of our pupils and staff”.
