Broomwood to Host Teddy Bears' Picnic for Local Families

Broomwood, Clapham, is delighted to be hosting a Teddy Bears’ Picnic for local families on Sunday 28 June 2026.

The free community event, taking place from 9.30am–11.00am at the school’s Nightingale Lane site, is designed for children aged 2–4 and their families and promises a morning filled with fun, friendship and summer memories.

Families attending can enjoy stories, songs, refreshments, a petting zoo and plenty of teddy bear-themed activities. Children are encouraged to bring along their favourite teddy for what is set to be a magical morning in the heart of the local community.

The event comes at an exciting time for Broomwood. Earlier this year, pupils secured a record-breaking 47 scholarships to leading senior and boarding schools across the country, while the school was also named Best Independent Preparatory School in London by the Private Education Awards for a second consecutive year. Broomwood has also recently been shortlisted for five national Education Choices Awards, recognising its work in areas including sustainability, inclusion, student voice and community partnerships.

The Teddy Bears’ Picnic is all about bringing our community together, creating special memories for young children and giving families the opportunity to enjoy some summer fun in a relaxed and friendly setting.”

The Teddy Bears’ Picnic is free to attend, although places must be booked in advance.
