Double success for Ludgrove School

Ludgrove Prep in Berkshire is celebrating two major scholarship successes

Ludgrove Prep in Berkshire has ‘done the double’, with pupils Adrian and Kai being awarded King’s Scholarships from Eton College. With a maximum of 14 KS awarded each year, it is a remarkable feat. The boys will join last year’s leaver Jacky, and Jaey – who joined their ranks in 2022 – adding up to four KS winners over four years.

Eton’s King’s Scholarship is designed to find the most able candidates and examiners look for boys who show real capability, even if this is in a limited field. Notably, the General papers allow candidates who have had limited tuition to demonstrate potential. Every candidate must take several compulsory and at least three optional papers.
