Dulwich College Junior School’s Book Week had a fiendishly clever crimes and mysteries theme to inspire literary and problem solving ventures

Dulwich College Junior School’s Book Week ‘Marvellous Mysteries and Clever Crimes’ theme had everyone on the case, with author visits, a Dress Up Day and code-cracking challenges in the school library at lunchtimes.

The House Short Story competition was of such a high standard this time around that the Heads of each year read the winning stories to an audience of children, who listened with bated breath.

Over 1,000 books were donated to favourite charity The Children’s Book Project over the course of a week-long event. Meanwhile, the’Drop Everything and Read’ event meant the whole school was silent for a full ten minutes every day.
