Berkhamsted is celebrating a great lacrosse season across all age groups and player levels
Berkhamsted Schools lacrosse is celebrating an exceptional season of achievements. The school played 150 matches and fielded 15 teams, with strong participation across year groups and skill levels. Berko U14A and U15B teams were champions at National Schools Lacrosse, while U19A and U18B achieved top 8 and runner-up position respectively.
In the U19 Championship category, 1st team captain Ella W was awarded the defensive player of the tournament, recognising her outstanding play across the tournament. “Captaining the 1st team this season has been a huge privilege, and I’ve been incredibly proud to lead such a hardworking and supportive group of players,” she says.
“Being awarded Defensive MVP was a real honour, but it reflects the effort of the entire team. Our communication, trust, and determination made it possible. I’m very grateful for the opportunity and proud of what we achieved together.”
Berkhamsted’s lacrosse provision is designed to drive high-level performance, while still ensuring enjoyment and supporting every player to achieve their best. Tbe school has dedicated strength & conditioning staff, and three coaches who play international level lacrosse.
