Broomwood, Clapham, is expanding its Pre-Prep with the opening of a third Pre-School (Nursery) classroom from September 2026. The move comes in response to growing demand for places at Little Broomwood
“We are thrilled to be opening a third classroom as part of our pre-school provision,” says Head of Pre-Prep Carol Mackay. “This new space will allow us to expand while preserving the highly personalised, purposeful education that underpins everything we do. The early years are such a vital stage, and we are proud to offer an environment where every child is known, supported and inspired.’
“The opening of this new classroom reflects both the strength of our early years provision and our commitment to meeting the needs of modern families,” adds Broomwood Principal Michael Hodge.
Designed to inspire curiosity, creativity and confidence, the new classroom will support children at the very start of their education journey, combining a rich, play-based curriculum with specialist teaching and pastoral care.
Broomwood was recently included in Talk Education’s 250 guide and the Pre-Prep was also highly praised in the most recent ISI report, which noted that: ‘Children become articulate and confident communicators as they share their ideas in lessons, support and encourage each other and listen well to what each other has to say’.
