Framlingham College and Mill Hill Group have announced a partnership designed to build on the Suffolk school’s strengths
Framlingham College is to join Mill Hill Education Group. The announcement was made with unanimous agreement by the Governors and fully supported by the Principal and Head of the Prep School.
Mill Hill Education Group is an established educational charity and this values-led charitable partnership is designed to enhance education, opportunity and ensure stability for the long term. MHEG has an established record of successful partnerships with schools, each of which retains its own leadership.
Framlingham College will retain its identity, distinct educational philosophy and character as an HMC Boarding and Day school for children aged 2 to 18 delivering extensive academic opportunities, a broad co-curricular offer and strong pastoral care. While the day-to-day experience for pupils and staff will remain unchanged, the partnership with MHEG is designed to deliver additional opportunity, collaboration and the long-term resilience that come from being part of a wider charitable school group.

Framlingham is a successful and aspirational school and joining Mill Hill Education Group allows us to build on that success with confidence. We are safeguarding what defines the College while opening new opportunities for our pupils and staff,” says Framlingham College Chair of Governors Charles Packshaw.

The Framlingham College MHEG merger is expected to complete at the end of June 2026, following final legal and regulatory processes.
