Heathfield announces a co-ed sixth form

Heathfield School in Berkshire has announced that it will welcome boys to the sixth form from next academic year

Heathfield School in Ascot will welcome boys into its sixth form next September. The school, part of Mill Hill Education Group, opened its Cadogan Sixth Form Centre in 2022. Headmaster Jonathan Williams says the move brings benefits for all students, with small A-level classes, broad subject choices and diverse perspectives.

“Boys will be fully involved in all aspects of school life, including mixed sports, choirs, drama and musical productions, and leadership opportunities, with careful planning for areas such as boarding, to maintain Heathfield’s balanced, supportive environment,” adds Jonathan Williams. “Overall, the transition promises to continue the Heathfield ethos of ‘small school, big opportunities’, with a more dynamic Sixth Form experience for everyone.”’”

The purpose-built Cadogan Sixth Form includes state-of-the-art classrooms and co-curricular spaces, alongside the guidance of dedicated staff. It was opened by Hon Mrs George Cadogan. formerly Davina Motion, who attended the school.
