Hurtwood House is on top of the world when it comes to Media Studies A level, as this year’s results prove yet again

Hurtwood House has cemented its position as ‘best school for Media Studies’ for the second year, with student Evie achieving the top mark in the world. Evie, who is off to IE Business School, Madrid was presented with a certificate by her teacher Stuart Butcher.

Evie was one of 70 students in her year to take Media Studies. In all, 23 of the class achieved A* grades – particularly impressive since only 2.3% of students worldwide are awarded the highest grade. The Media Studies A-level course teaches students practical filmmaking alongside rigorous academic topics such as Media regulation and online safety.
