SCHS has won an international award for its work developing the international dimension of its school curriculum

Streatham & Clapham High School has been awarded the British Council’s prestigious International School Award in recognition of its development of the international dimension in the curriculum. This includes its ongoing cultural exchanges with global schools, where pupils celebrate the rich range of heritage in the student and staff body.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the British Council award, which celebrates the achievements of schools that do exceptional work in global education. The 2025 award ceremony took place in Westminster in January and was attended by Members of Parliament and representatives from schools around the UK, including SCHS Head Cathy Ellott, and Assistant Head (Co-Curricular and Community) Tiffany Philipsen-Allen.
