Burlington House will be the new name for The Moat School, and it is also expanding to include a prep close to its Fulham location

From September, The Moat School will be renamed Burlington House School and it is expanding to support more neurodiverse young people by opening a prep, just a few minutes’ walk from the existing Fulham senior. Nicola Lovell, former Deputy Head at The Dominie School will be Headteacher. Like the existing senior school, the new prep – which is located in Fulham High Street – will offer a mainstream structure with specialist support. It will welcome children aged from 7+.

Part of Cavendish Education, the school offers bespoke teaching and pastoral support to enable young people to achieve their potential

The Moat was founded in 1998 by parents seeking a specialist environment to support their dyslexic children. It is now part of Cavendish Education, a family of independent schools for students aged from 5-21. Cavendish seeks to transform common perceptions of specialist education and neurodiversity. Schools offer a mainstream curriculum approach with bespoke support and emphasis on areas such as learning outside the classroom and preparation for life.
