ArtsEd in Chiswick has a new Principal from July, bringing diverse experience across education and the performing arts to this unique London institution

Louise Jackson takes on the role of Principal of ArtsEd, Chiswick in July, bringing experience across diverse educational and performing arts institutions including BIMM University, Trinity Laban, and the University of Chichester.

At BIMM University, she played a pivotal role in the transformation of the institution, implementing a new operating model and supporting the integration of MetFilm School following acquisition in 2024. She has a National Teaching Fellowship, and is a passionate advocate for the value of academic research and practice-based scholarship in the arts, with her research focusing on specialist arts education such as that delivered in conservatoires and drama schools.

ArtsEd offers a broad academic and arts education to students aged 11-18, and with specialist degrees and diplomas in acting and musical theatre. Its President is Andrew Lloyd Webber.
